Montepulciano is above all an Italian commune located in the province of Siena in Tuscany, but it is also the name of a grape variety recognized and very appreciated in Italy and throughout the world.
This Italian red wine follows all the traditional steps of making wine in Abruzzo (East-Central Italy).
TASTING NOTES
Color: Ruby red with purplish reflections.
Nose: Powerful – spicy with some notes of vanilla, violet, and red fruits.
Mouth: Supple – a fairly sustained and harmonious finish. The whole gives a balanced and generous wine.
Food & Wine: it will happily accompany traditional Abruzzo cuisine, from the classic “Arrostici” (mutton skewer) to “Sheep Pecorino” and “Spaghetti alla chittara”.
